The assessment is usually the first stage of the treatment process. The goal of this evaluation is to provide accurate psychiatric diagnoses while ruling out other medical causes and providing appropriate individualized treatment selection.
Follow-Up Appointment
This appointment is scheduled after the initial psychiatric assessment. The goal is to continue to maintain an individualized treatment plan that is tailored to your lifestyle and need.
Genesight testing for psych– 5 minutes
HHWC offers GeneSight testing. This test is free through most insurances, if there is a cost, it is no more than $330. GeneSight Psychotropic is a pharmacogenomic test which means that it analyzes how your genes may affect medication outcomes. The GeneSight test analyzes clinically important genetic variations in your DNA. Results can inform your doctor about how you may break down or respond to certain medications commonly prescribed to treat depression, anxiety, and other psychiatric conditions.
